1. Hanukkah and Christmas are almost upon us! Hanukkah is, as I've iterated before, my favouritest Jewish holiday of them alllllllll (and it always makes me sad when Jon Stewart tries to reconcile it with Pagan Jesustide Christmas), and so my Menorah is already out and waiting to be lit. :D As my Roomie is half-Christian, half-Muslim, I put out some Christmas decorations at her behest. Now my place looks like the clashing of the SPARKLES, or otherwise the kingdom of LED. WUT.

2. I saw Sherlock Holmes you guys, and there was a surprise!TDKR trailer before it (but I'm only spoiling Sherlock Holmes) )

3. Speaking of Batman, I miss "Community". :( I've been marathoning season 2 the last couple of days. So here's an ABSOLUTELY AWESOME fanart of the cast of "Community" as Batman villains:

4. And if we want to be COMPLETELY geeky, here's someone's suggestion for a new "League of Gentlemen":

I WOULD LIKE TO SUBSCRIBE TO THIS PERSON'S NEWSLETTER KTX.

Thank you so so so much everyone who commented on the love meme! I never know whether to answer those comments or not, so I probably will in a couple of hours. :)

Here are some videos I feel obligated to spam (and thus annoy the shit out of some of) my flist with:

1. So um, this was two weeks ago already, but I keep coming back to that BRILLIANT digital short Andy Samberg and his insane comrades cooked up for SNL's season finale:

(Apologies to all non-Americans! I couldn't find a source that would play for you too D: I'll embed NBC if you tell me it works)

2. "Glee" ruled this week. Don't even question this fact. My two favorite parts are these*:

The "Bad Romance" performance-

Tina dressing up as a vampire and scaring the fuck outta Figgins like the hardcore awesome girl that she is-

*videos are mirrored, probably for copyright reasons

3. Michael Sheen came over to Craig Ferguson's and they were both adorable as usual. :D

1. Teeny fashion blogger Tavi takes on Terry Richardson's vile vile existence.

I think her very eloquent points are doubly poignant, considering that at 14, she's really not far away from the age of the models Richardson sexual harassed and even abused.

2. Interesting list of the 10 TV actors who should be movie stars.

I have to say, though I mostly agree that these actors could absolutely belong on the big screen, I'm disappointed that out of 10 people, only two are women, and no one is non-white. What the hell.

3. Gather 'round, people, and hear the harrowing tale of the BONER GHOST!

If the Ghostfacers and SamnDean ever have to face the Boner Ghost, I would probably Die Happily. Also, Seth Meyers' imitation of Will Forte is spot on.

4. So, Brian Cranston is one of my heroes. I grew up watching Malcom In The Middle, and I think he is absolutely fucking AMAZING. And this week he came on Craig Ferguson's to promote Breaking Bad:

Which is just mildly less awesome than him coming on The Daily Show:

5. Once upon a time, War and Lucifer were also on Lost, and they were bored. THIS IS WHAT THEY DID.

I love me some Marksha.

Tina Fey was brilliant tonight.

And this is just her Palin sketch. I'm hoping someone that's not NBC.com will upload her rant about Bombshell McGee, so I can link it as well.

ETA: FOUND IT!

Enjoy. :D

Because I really enjoyed making the last one. :D

1. So, remember that hilarious version Rifftrax made to Edward Cullen's song? Well, yesterday I discovered they made their own version to the Suicidal Tendencies song on "Iron Man", and dubbed it the Keanu Reeves monologue (starts at 1:24-2:00). SPASMS OF LAUGHTER, YOU GUYS. Not to mention the Rifftrax 'New Moon' will be released this week! UGH I LOVE THESE GUYS.

2. A collection of SNL appreciation: The 'Really!?! With Seth+Jerry skit from this week, Zach Galifianakis' monologue which I can't believe I've missed omg and Rahm Emanuel's even-tempered apology which is probably the most IC I've ever seen this dude played.

3. Brian Williams is my PIE.

4. Just in case you weren't sure, Conan O'Brien is a total sweetheart.

5. True Blood time is nearing upon us! CAN'T BLOODY WAIT.

6. And to end with a bang, here is Christoph Waltz in the EPIC EPICNESS otherwise known as "Der Humpink":

Yeah, I shouldn't have gotten out of bed today. With the exception of the little impromptu tea [livejournal.com profile] memphis86 and I were having, today sucked donkey balls. DONKEY. BALLS. UGH.

SO! Have some uplifting YouTubes!

1. Craig Ferguson interviewed Tim Gunn last week, and it was immediately apparent Ferguson is an AVID Project Runway fan. So as you can imagine, it didn't suck.

2. The latest SNL short, because it's made of WIN:

Your moment of Zen SQUEE:

Jim Parsons got nominated for an Emmy for lead actor in a comedy series! \O/!!!!!

Other interesting nominations:

Justin Timberlake for his SNL episode (guest actor - comedy)

Christine Baranski, as Beverly Hofstadter in The Big Bang Theory (guest actress - comedy) (it was probably the funniest episode of the second season, which was all-around Emmy-worthy too)

Toni Collette for United States Of Tara (lead actress in comedy), despite the fact I'm pretty sure the series got cancelled apparently I lose at life. or TV watching.

Jack McBrayer as Kenneth for 30 Rock (supporting actor - comedy), which is AWESOME, and he's against his parallel in The Office, Rainn Wilson

And Tine Fey got a nomination for her role as Sarah Palin in SNL (guest actress)

And, of course, 30 Rock got 2109421082821482181 nominations, a lot because of the 2109147024108184 star guests they had this season, as well as Law & Order.

JIM PARSONS, YOU GUYS. :D :D :D
