nefeleo's LJ and that con looked like loads of fun! Wah! Now I'm even more sorry that I didn't make my mom take me with her to the US on the pain of death! Waaaaaaaah!
In other news, I just discovered that Howard Shore composed not only the whole LotR movies' soundtrack, but Dogma's one as well. Excuse me as I go madly fangirling the brilliant movies composer who created music for both of my all-time favourite music-movies. I dig movies music, you have no idea what a genious that man is. I cannot even start explaining, cause then everyone will defriend me for making them yawn with boredome with my boring POV as a classical musician. But, to sum it all up, the man is a genious. 'Nough said. :D
JT gets a boner when he performs live. It is proved yet again, as I read a documentation of a fan of his who went to an MTV concert and was trapped under the....thing when he was crowd swimming (or however it's called). Disturbing. Eurgh.
Orlando Bloom likes to sleep in a frayed red-and-white stripes PJ, very much like this shirt-

The pic's original name was: "Pippin and Merry go boom". And for a good reason. :DDD
After having my sister droning about how Lucius and Haldir look alike, I finally decided to check that myself, and lo! I have found similar piccis! (or at least, I think I did)
Look at this yummy piccie of Haldir (one of my favourite):
And then this piccie of Lucius:
It's something about the shape of their mouths and the look in their eyes....
Now, we have this piccie of Haldir (which I also ADORE):
And then this piccis of Lucius-
I know Lucius doesn't smile here, but their faces are so alike...
The problem with seeing similarities in both of their looks is the fact that both are photographed from very different angles all the time. Jason (Lucius) The Lovely is always photoed from below, to give his chin an extra boost up, as Lucius is supposed to look. Craig (Haldir) is never photoed form that angle, because he has (and we see it quite clearly in the extra scene in Lothlorien before they reach Galadriel's scene) a very weak chin, and shooting him from that angle makes him look rather...er...ugly. Not exactly elvish, specially when Orlando Bloom, with his perfectly chiseled jaw, stands just beside him, making him look particularly unattractive. Grrrr. And that was my intelligent thought for the day.
And this is what we like to call: "Matrix!Legolas". Behold the sheer style! The elegance! The green bandanna!
This piccie is a classic. Here you have Aragorn in his full TTT glory, riding Hasufel, and next to him, a cool elf in bolle sunglasses and a bandanna to protect himself from the sun. *dissolves into hysterical giggles over the sight*
Right now I'm in a mad race against time to read all the fics that I want, how much time I want, as my parents are back from the States this Wednesday, i.e. less than 48 hours. God, did their vacation time flown fast!
I'm very very VERY afraid that when they come back, my crazy-likable mood will disappear, cause my parents have a deperssing influence on me when they're at home and I'm writing my entry. My mom especially. Boy am I not cheerfully anticipating her return.
In other news, my grannie has lost her marbles for good, but lets not get into it. >:(((

*There's a Narry (Neville/Harry) fic written by Zahra at veelainc. It's called "Unlikely People" and it's post no. 6498 if you go to the y!group site. I loved it. It was brilliant and sweet, and perfect introduction to Narry.

I know that pic a long time now. In factm it's not HP slash art, but it very well could be a H/D art, specially with Draco with that hair. I just found my own copy of it last night. I'm so in love with this piccie....:D
Relax. I did dishes on 2am too. It doesn't matter. As for screwed up biological clocks- since everyone in this fandom "wake up" at 11am and go till the very late hours in my time zone, I go to sleep at 5am each night and wake up at 1pm. Talk about screwed-up biological clocks.Hmph.

No, I haven't, but Neville/Anyone squicks me. As for the rest of the pairings, although McGonagall/Anyone squicks me, Sirius/Snape is certainly not squicky in my point of view. I rather like that pairing, and it has great canon potential. I can't see Remus with everyone but Sirius or Snape, that is true. Although I did read a fic in which Remus is infatuated with Sirius and Lily hits on him. Was fun. :D

Did John Williams compose the music for "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon"? Because Yo-yo Ma played in that movie's soundtrack too. And I so wibbled in his solo parts. :D
