The Long Awaited Post
Jun. 3rd, 2004 01:06 amI'm writing this post from my mother's laptop, a situation I really didn't want to arrive, but desperate times lead to desperate measures eh. It seems myhub at home is about to die, therefore screwing royally my and my mother's internet connection. It took us a long time and many many heated arguments to get to this point. I hope that when the new hub arrives my connection to Livejournal would fix itself but I have little hope. Right now we're taking turns at connecting the computers to the single port in our rauter and even with that amazing DSL connection my computer still refuses to function normally with livejournal. I really don't know what to do anymore.
Anyway, I have many many many things to talk about, I don't know even where to begin! :D First of all, PoA. I have tickets to the local special-pre-premiere screening-Gala-thingy they do over here with probably many obnoxious celebrities, but still I get to see PoA on the 8th WHEE! Even though I shall be mimbi -less we'll both probably see it together somewhere on the 10th, during the actual premiere, right Mimbs? :D
Heheheh, a few nights ago I had a dream where Snape offers me his hand to dance in someone's house and I take it and we dance and I remember the way his hand felt even now. It's so creepy! It was like he was a real human being! (don't we all want ;D). I have a tiny little complaint though - why am I getting 2 Snape dreams this year and not, say, dreams where I fuck with Orlando Bloom senseless, huh? Huh? HUH? Don't have anything against having Snape in my dreams, he's quite the welcome guest, but still. Hurrrrrrrumph.
teabeard - you and your luscious self and your luscious Jeremy Sumpter and his (apparently) luscious Tom Felton are so, um, luscious! You have killed me!
noirenails - I got tha Ai-no Kusabi DVD/VCDs from eBay a week ago or so, and OMG that is the worst yaoi I have ever seen, with plotholes and character-holes THIS big, and dubbing that sounded like two Japanese bus-drivers reading the script. The blond guy was, however, for lack of other word, GORGEOUS.He's such a total dish! Me likey! :D
I saw the three NYC premiere videos Mugglenet had, and the actors are so adorable! Particuarly Rupert and James Phelps and the guy who plays Crabbe. Alan Rickman is completely striking for his age, and Tom Felton is so pimply it's just a horror to look at. Poor boy. (I wonder when the oxy10-campaign-offer arrives ;D) He is, however, a charmingly simple teenaged Brit guy who probably got the kick of his life when he got to walk a 100m of a red carpet row filled with screaming teenaged fangirls, all for him. ;) Dan looked a bit edgy and Emma looked very nervous indeed. She keeps wringing her hands and flailing about, doesn't she. Specially when they asked her if she had a boyfriend "Me? No. Again, no. Conclusion: Definitely no." And then Dan hugged her but nevermind. ;D
I'd like to dedicate ths spam to fyrie and
siriaeve for their very belated birthdays. Also a mini-dedication to
amanuensis1 who resurfaced again. Welcome back, dear. I've just been lurking. You, however, were missing in action since the Sirius essay. ;)
On a final note, it was lovely to hear from you, Karine. :)
Fyre, is it Ayr or Edinburugh in the end?
