No seriously. I would place a bet that it was Chester Bennington singing the song at the end.

Hello everyone! Yes, I know I didn't review last episode. Truth be told, I'm pretty surprised I'm reviewing this episode, considering how much of a fucking shitfest this show has become. I was half-minded to write a letter to Alan Ball, detailing every single thing making this show SO VERY, VERY BAD right now, which he has to fucking fix, but I'm feeling too lazy to do so, so here's a regular review full of RAGE.

( Let this angry fucking Frenchman lead you into my kingdom of spoilery rage sleep and disapproving gifs (some of which were provided by Regala Electra) )
Hey, remember when Godric was around? Those were some good times.

Oh, RAELLE TUCKER. Dean Winchester DOES NOT APPROVE.

True Blood 4x05 - Vikings vs Livejournal
Jul. 26th, 2011 12:44 pmI wanted to do a spoilery poll this week, but since
regala_electra is the queen of all lulzy True Blood polls, I couldn't think of a single question about Eric Northman in which the answers didn't end in "AND THEN, YOU FUCK HIM", or a series of sarcastic jokes that wouldn't be nearly as funny as hers.
( Okay okay I'll do my regular numbered review instead )

Ugh ugh UGGGGHHHHH
Jul. 23rd, 2011 11:10 pmThere is SO MUCH AWFULNESS going on in the world right now, from murdered kids to dead geniuses to killer heat waves. My deepest condolences to all hurting.
I have thus decided to try and make some people smile just a little, so here is ( a teeny five happier (fandom-y) things picspam (warning for gifs) )

My official list of Favourite Shows Currently Running:
Community - It's just SO SHINY. So smart and funny and touching, even when I'm sorta tired of Jeff Wenger. Though I heartily believe it's the new "Scrubs", I don't think Joel McHale is quite as charming as Zack Braff used to be.
Supernatural - It's...on the way out of this list tbh. I'm hardly the only person on my flist who feels this way, I know. I can't quite muster the unironic squee I used to have for it, and my levels of disdain for Jared Padalecki as a person are beginning to take over my affection for Sam Winchester. Idk. There's a longer post waiting to be written about this, but those are my initial observations.
True Blood - It's still my official summer crack, and I think it's wholly redeemable if they just start cutting out some of the boring storylines and/or characters. Plus, Eric Northman, Lafayette and Pam are still three of the most fun characters on television, and I love the books.
Never Mind the Buzzcocks - OH, BRITISH SNARK. Even with the cringe-worthy parade game they insist on keeping, it's still incredibly entertaining. Plus, Noel Fielding = YES PLEASE.
The Daily Show - JOOOOOOOOOOOON. That is all. :D
The Late Late Show - Craig Ferguson, I've come to realize, has made a perfect amalgamation of British and American late night formats. He's just the right amount of silly, laid back and serious. Plus, HE'S MY SCOTTISH UNF. Never leave your show omg Craig. <3333333
30 Rock - It's been coming slowly but surely. Tina Fey FTW!
Shows That Almost Make Afrementioned List:
Leverage - I seriously just need to catch up on it. I still adore it lots and lots.
The Big Bang Theory - Jim Parsons is still the funniest.
GLEE - Ack. Um, I only care about Kurt at this point? I sorta got tired of all the musical numbers and I pretty much detest any reason to have Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison on my television.
The Colbert Report - It's just that I don't quite want to watch it every night. Every couple of nights, sure!
Shows I Wish Existed So I Could Name Them My Favourites:
Jensen's Hour of Facepalm - Jensen Ackles on the many many things that make him facepalm, and us laugh and laugh. Schaaaaaaadenfreude! :D
Misha's Meditations - Misha Collins reminiscing over the many uses of pony blood, running crazy amounts and why his son has his own custom made fake mustache at the tender age of FETUS.
The Hardy Party - Tom Hardy sitting, being luscious. Tom Hardy talking like he writes, while being luscious. Sometimes P-Nut has his own corner on life advice for the newly rehabbed, as well as exercises that make your ass look like two ripe, hard melons, which Tom Hardy demonstrates in his underwear.
