More New York Notes
Dec. 14th, 2004 05:01 amIt's so cold in here. So cold! My butt is constantly frozen over, and when it's not, it's because I'm sweating from the overheating inside the buildings in here. New Yorkers are insane.
Ha. Talk about irony. Just as my cold finally went away (that, btw, doesn't mean my voice is 100% alright AAAAAAH NOT GOOD), my mom's back seized up this morning, which made her a thousand times more annoying.
This healthy thing is strange. I don't eat anything with wheat, milk or chocolate (no chocolate! this has to be some sort of a miracle), I avoid spicy food and generally am fed on soup and tea.
Memo to me: "Venti" size in Starbucks is NOT the smallest size of a cup. GAH. Am traumatized from the amount of green tea I got.
We went to a Japanese restaurnt with friends last night. It was one of those places only a handful of people knew about, but it was still completely full of diners. Our friends, who are regulars in the place said they sat next to Mike Nichols last time and I went \:O/ because Angels in America gah.
Must. Stop. Shopping. Have already invaded Barnes & Noble, Macy's and J&R with several bagfuls everytime. Many books yay! I finally have everything Storm Constantine has ever written, Holly Black's "tithe" and OotP in paperback. Have a dozen new classical CDs and a new flanel pajama! Yay flanel! *is insane*
Must go to sleep. Tomorrow big traumatic day. Am afraid. Very very much. Gah. *hides somewhere dry*
Otherwise it's absolutely fab in here. :)
