Ahhhhhh, turkey

So I just had my first real Thanksgiving this week in California, where I stayed at a friend's house. Many nice discoveries happened to me on this trip:

1. AC/DC is awesome. So is singing Imogen Heap really loudly while driving on the freeway for hours while scarfing down In 'N Out.

2. Cranberry sauce is really yummy freshly made.

3. I tried yams with marshmallow, and consequently understood why so many Americans have diabetes. If this is the Southern idea for a side-dish, I don't wanna know what's for dessert.

4. I am in love with Chanel make up.

5. Harlequin men are real. As in, they are real. I have met my friend's cousin, probably the most gorgeous man I have ever seen in my life. 6'4'' of well-chiseled, well built masculinity with a rich baritone and a twang to match. And he's rich. And he's a single dad. My god. I think even my friend had incestuous thoughts, it's unreal. 

6. Jet Blue is pretty amazing, even when their flights are completely full.

7. Buying "Hairspray" on DVD is one of the best decisions I've made this year, even if Zac Efron IS made of plastic.
