I know that in the past I've ranted about the way Entertainment Weekly was treating Supernatural. You know, it's a cult show a-la Buffy in terms of fandom with many many references and ties to pop culture both on and off set, and yet EW was treating it like it was, I dunno, Two and a Half Men. And whenever it was even deigning to mention SPN, it was always very annoyingly/petulantly/childishly done.
However, in this week's EW, I'm counting five separate mentions of SPN, and that's without F13 and Watchmen. There's the jacket, an Ausiello "spoiler", the bit (finally) about J2 both making horror movies and a rec, wait for it, for a re-run. We even have an attractive photo of SamnDean this time on Ausiello! Gasp and shock.
Congratulations, Entertainment Weekly, for finally graduating into Sophomore year in life college.
