Well, I wrote my research paper. I started it at 7PM Friday and finished it at 8AM Saturday. In the middle, there was a talk with
regala_electra (I was not Gaga'd!), cheap Chinese food, Joel McHale and a heckuva lot of political literature. Ended up having to cut out about half my ideas, because I would've gone over the limit of pages allowed! Damn double spacing.
So yeah. I'm currently awake for 34 hours straight, and I'm having a déjà-vu of that House episode where Mrs. OCD-Teacher-from-Glee is a bitchy little lesbian with liver failure who hasn't slept in a week. Fun. I did that thing that always happens to me when I push an all-nighter, with the nodding off on the subway and the bus, which is more than a little alarming.
Also, the bags under my eyes have bags. I'm a bag lady. Or is it a bug lady. IDK. I'm not an Olsen at any rate.
Things that are making me happy right now:
Bed.
Bed.
Chocolate.
Discovering Apple does in fact sell their old Shuffles, so not only I don't have to buy the new douchy voice-command shuffle, but I got to buy the same model as my old one on a discount with free shipping! (My beloved "make love, not belts" has mysteriously disappeared on a subway ride which was so crowded I had to put my bag down on the floor and it clipped off somewhere).
Bed.
Finishing my research paper.
Bed.
Having 5 interesting books about political media and the 2008 elections to read in depth.
Did I mention bed?
Love.
PS: Does anyone have a copy of "Stephen Colbert's Xmas Extravaganza"? I lost my copy of the album.
PPS: Yesterday I introduced Awesome Landlady to "Love Actually". She must be the last person IN THE WORLD who hasn't seen this movie. Then discovered she also hasn't seen the BBC P&P yet. BLASPHEMY.
