UNSPOILERY: THAT WAS FUCKING PHENOMENAL.
SPOILERY: THAT WAS FUCKING PHENOMENAL.
Seriously, I think this is the best episode on the show ever since the pilot, easily. I know people are going to compare it to the Madonna episode, but seriously, you guys, did anyone take the Madonna episode seriously, apart from the performances?
I CRIED, PEOPLE. I WAS SOBBING. AT LEAST ONCE. AND LAUGHING MY ASS OFF. AND SQUEEING.
LIST OF LOVE:
♥ The Twilight handling was the best one I've ever seen by the media. They were laughing at the crazy Twihards and it was pitch. Perfect.
♥ And on that note, TINA. *_* From that awesome goth outfit, to the self questioning that led to the Gaga theme, to the AWESOME, AWESOME vampire princess spoof she did on Figgins. ILU TINA ILU. Please always be treated this way by your show.
♥ THE GAGA THEME ♥♥♥ That "Bad Romance" performance ♥♥♥ You go Naya Rivera for that belting, and four for you Santana Coco for that fantastic bridge ♥♥♥ THE OUTFITS \O/ ♥♥♥ The amazing daring of the Gleers to walk at school like that and risk being constantly bullied and SHOWER-CURTAIN!FINN ♥♥♥ I was literally squealing "OH MY GOD!!!!" when I saw him.
♥ I know there was no Goddess Lynch this week to make me squee my pants, but this episode made me forget that right up till the end. Plus, there was more Vocal Adrenaline goodness! I won't lie, I'm kind of their bitch, because those rehearsals alone were squeal-worthy.
♥ Every single time I saw Brittany in those lobster glasses I laughed my ass off. "I look awesome". YES, YOU DO, BRITTANY. YES YOU DO.
♥ The whole Kurt-Finn-Burt theme was not only making MY HEART HURT, I was SOBBING when Burt gave his speech to Finn. OH MY GOD. If Chris Colfer and Mike O'Malley (Burt Hummel) don't get an Emmy nod for this episode alone, I'm gonna CUT THE FUCKING VOTERS.
♥ And even the Rachel-Shelby storyline squeezed a tear or two. Okay, Lea Michele can sometimes emote something. Now can she be LESS ANNOYING that way all the time?
MOMENT OF NO HEARTS WHATSOEVER: STOP. AUTO TUNING PEOPLE. STOP IT. OH MY GOD HOW DARE YOU AUTO TUNE IDINA FUCKING MENZEL, YOU FUCKERS. I COULD NOT LISTEN TO HER SING BECAUSE MY EARS WERE BOILING.
But, now back to the hearts! ♥ THE KISS NUMBER. I LOVED IT. I mean, I didn't really care for the "Beth" one, despite my love for Mark Salling, but the "Party" one! ♥♥♥ That was HARDCORE, GLEE.Even if I kinda hoped they might do something like Paparazzi or I dunno.
♥ In conclusion: HEARTS. THIS EPISODE WAS SO SO SO GOOD. Now I remember why I love this show so much.
(♥ sidenote: I hope one day that the Haus of Gaga will get a visual guide out for every single outfit Gaga has ever worn. I'm sure it would be a very interesting read.)
