Development in LJ business: Think I have finally discovered the source of the problem, and guess what, it's my Explorer that's just about a step ahead from acting in full Zombie mode. Am enslaving my dear father who installed that thing in the first place to do it again, only this time, you know, right.
I was trying to write the picspam offline and just post it, you know, if only my Angelfire account hadn't decided it didn't want to act nicely to me. I'd bet it's the Explorer too. One day I swear there would be a group lawsuit against Microsoft for driving people absolutely INSANE with their terrible software. GRRRRRRRRR.
Tonight was horrible. After a cheerful (read: NOT) dinner with my lovely (read: INSANE) grandparents, my friend stood me up and I had to go alone to the local theater complex, only to find out that the closest shows for "Troy", "Kill Bill 2" and even "Van Helsing" were all at 2AM. It was 23PM at the time, and I was already doing an inner competition to see who was the slizziest guy there with his suburbian teenaged slut. And those people LIVE near me? *pukes* Had to come abck home, only to find my parents having guests. Yeah, that's nice. My parents are having a better social life than myself. Really cheered here.
I need I need I need I need I NEED my livejournal back NOW! I need the pics, the fics, the people! Waaaaaaaah!
Oh, and the Genficaton? Anobody feeling like writing a genfic about Rowena Ravenclaw during a Viking-ravished England? Because I sure as hell can't think of writing ANYTHING about it, having no bunnies whatsoever or any knowledge of the use of language back then. ACK. If I ignore it will it go away? Please?
And I fucking swear, if that idiot woman on the next floor is hearing her too-loud trance music at this hour, I am going to make "The Passion of Christ" look like fucking "Loony Toons in Summer Vacation".

Date: 2004-05-28 03:24 pm (UTC)How about something involving Rowena being of Viking extraction, possibly upper-class, originally named Runa? She's sent away to study with an English witch when her powers become evident, lots of fighting happens, she meets other witches and wizards who have suffered different degrees of education, everything goes to Hell when an untrained wizard turns a battlefield or a village into a smoking pit, and she and her kind are hunted in an effort to prevent it happening again. It's not great, but it's an idea.
Oh, ravens were sacred to the god Odin, so that might be something to work on as to where she got her surname.
Just remember the sacred rule of fiction: it's fiction. When in doubt, make it up.
