3 Things that amuse me today:

1. That Jensen looks like a construction worker. A pretty construction worker, but one all the same. WHAT'S WITH THE TINY PLAID, GRANDPA.

2. That I realized how reading RPS can actually function as a personal vendetta against whichever star pissed you off, for whatever reason. OH YEAH? WEARING CASHMERE AGAIN? Well SUCK ON IT as I read an AU in which YOU ARE A SEX SLAVE, and therefore not ALLOWED to dress the way you do.

(I'm only using Jensen as an example, but frankly, sometimes his wardrobe is so eye-searing, I laugh at it because IT PAINS ME)

(and hey, it might be a wanky notion, BUT IT AMUSES ME. LIKE, A LOT)

3. HEY GUESS WHAT. IMOGEN HEAP HAS A NEW ALBUM COMING OUT IN AUGUST. \O/ \O/ \O/!!!
And what is this I hear about a small US promotion tour? I WANT. SO BADLY DO I WANT.

Some lumberjacks (http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_j7nAU9sOTnM/ShwD_U6OQzI/AAAAAAAACxw/z_Ai_cofVp8/s320/lumberjacks.jpg) found Jensen as a baby, okay, and they swaddled him in plaid (http://farm1.static.flickr.com/128/334023302_b81c395c2a.jpg?v=0) and raised him in the woods, right, so he has a bear kink or whatever, and then one day when the lumberjacks were felling trees in Canada (http://pw20c.mcmaster.ca/files/pw20c_images/00001821.jpg) because, like, Canada is the only fucking place in the world that still has trees because nobody lives in Canada at all (except lumberjacks), anyway, Jensen was with them because that was the day his dads were going to take the rubber training edge off his axe (http://blog.milktea.at/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/cimg5210.jpg) (he totally loved it and didn't care that it clashed with all his fine lumberjack apparel) and they were going to let him wear red plaid for real instead of the green plaid shirt (http://mikashop.net/images/sanpham/Green_Plaid_Shirt.jpg) for trainees, okay, so, they're swinging away, naturally, and bam! they accidentally chop this tree down and it falls right on top of a production team who're setting up for this TV show about demon-hunting brothers (which is PRETTY GAY (http://images2.fanpop.com/images/photos/3000000/Sam-Dean-and-Ruby-supernatural-3054016-600-625.jpg), imho) and Jensen's lumberjack dads always knew it was Jensen's truest wish to leave their rough-and-tumble life behind and become an actor, so with tears in their eyes, back-slapping hugs, and fond farewells, they bid him to set out and make his dreams come true or some shit, I dunno, I wasn't there but I heard, and so Jensen does, and then he meets Jared, who has even more ridiculous taste in shirts (http://www.ohlalaparis.com/photos/uncategorized/2007/08/18/jaredpalecki18080702.jpg) than him but he's hot too, so whatever, and the day Jensen knows he's in love with Jared, right, he comes home and finds pink flannel sheets (http://cn1.kaboodle.com/hi/img/2/0/0/c4/1/AAAAAt7Tp_cAAAAAAMQefg.jpg) on the bed and Jared wearing this hat (http://rlv.zcache.com/lumberjack_hat-p148450624876830866qz14_400.jpg) and nothing else, and Jensen thinks his life is pretty awesome except for how he doesn't get to see his dads much anymore now that he's famous.

And that's why Jensen wears plaid! TO RECONNECT WITH HIS FAMILY. I mean, it's IMPORTANT TO HIM, OKAY. He cries at night sometimes, missing the sounds of the forest at twilight and the familiar musk of wild moose drifting through the crisp Canadian air. Can you not, like, MOCK HIS PAIN?
