I am far too amused by pics of Jensen looking stoned. Unrelated. Just thought you should know. :D

Interestiiiiiiing. Anticlimactic, but interstiiiiiing.

1. So, Crowley. I like this dude. He is 100% rip off from a certain Crowley from Good Omens, but with one big difference: This is the Crowley that actually deals with Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery Pulsifer. Because lets face it. The Winchesters? Totally the American Pulsifers. And hey, I could swear Pulsifer rhymes with something.

2. Interestingly (again), for once, the POV in show interweaves the Winchesters' with Crowley's. We get to see a lot of shit going down in the demon world that we normally wouldn't. Season 4 especially hasn't been exactly forthcoming with the demon info. And unless Kripke is playing mind tricks on the viewers, Crowley's motives are actually exactly what he says they are. He is the honest demon. Imagine that.

2.5. Actually, imagining that, I'm thinking of Lucifer, and his repetitions of "I would never lie to you, Sam my precious"

3. I love that Crowley is downright awesome with the gay. Tonguing male clients? Awesome. Selling a line to Lucifer about him boinking Brady? Great. I don't think I've ever seen quite a fantabulous demon as he. Certainly Ruby enjoyed her little blood orgasms, but hey, Crowley has much better style.

4. So, Brady. What an oddball, "hey look at this random insertion!" character. Following Sam, killing Jess, wah wah wah. It's true that we don't actually see YED in Sam's place during Pilot, but it's still smelling like the ass Kripke pulled it out of.

4.5. And for the life of me, I could NOT figure out where I saw that actor before.

5. "You should be afraid of us", said Dean with his scariest growl. That went ever so lovingly with that girlish octave his voice climbed up to when the hellhounds stepped into the scene.

5.5. And okay, what's up with the hellhounds? What did Crowley mean by being invested in them? More importantly, why was he using Lilith's line on them? Did he get her authority over them? IDGI, Show. Bizarro.

6. Okay, the mid-level management metaphore crap is getting tired, Kripke. We get it. Angels and demons are the most hated positions in the Supernatural world, because they buffer all the shit from the humans so that fucks like Lucifer and Michael wouldn't have to deal with them. And no raises or promotions ever. I mean, really? And the swine flu thing too? Blerg, I say.

7. BOBBY. ♥ Love this dude.

8. Love Sam too, even though I was really hoping for him to do some black fist hurty hand on Brady, though it would probably defeat the purpose.

9. I see Dean is still holding onto some of that sparkly Cullen goodness inside him. I hope the emo isn't too dazzling.

10. WHERE IS THE WINCHESTER HURTY MASOCHISM THAT IS SHOW? I feel so BLAH about this episode, and we're one episode away from the Finale! SHOW. If you're going to keep us hanging this way, at least insert more gay jokes.

11. Pretty Winchesters are pretty, as usual.

12. But where's Castiel?

Crowley is awesome.

Brady killing Jess I did not like. Even if Jess and Mary died the same way, having it not be the same demon kind of dulls Sam and John's bond over that.

4.5: LOL, Whitney Fordman of Smallville, I laughed.

I think Crowley's either a bit of a Crossroads type, or he did inherit Lilith's mantle.

Castiel is still lost from wherever he vanished himself off to to fight those angels. That brave little toaster.
