WHAT THE ACTUAL LIFE

loony_moonyToday, I tried to get to the rally.
What happened in reality was that I spent most of my day traveling to and fro on the DC/NY line, barely saw even the big screens, and heard about 2 1/2 jokes by Stewart/Colbert, because you guys, THERE WERE ABOUT 400,000 PEOPLE THERE. Traffic was horrifically jammed on the way over, there was a mile-long line for the buses in Port Authority and my god. I have never seen anything like it in my life.
So if you feel bad about staying at home and watching the whole thing on live stream, DON'T. I didn't even get to see![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sadcypress and poor_choices because THEIR AREA WAS BARRICADED, WTF.
I did take some nifty pics of people/signs/monuments/PEOPLE, so I'll put those up the next couple of days.
On a positive note, I wore my bear hat. I thought it was very fitting. :D
