HEY YOU GUYS, THIS ALMOST FEELS LIKE AN ACTUAL EPISODE OF THIS SHOW I USED TO SQUEAL ABOUT.
1. BROTHERLY HUG! Who can forget the famous Hitler's Downfall line about the missing brotherly hug of last week? HEY HEY THIS ONE WASN'T BAD AT ALL, as far as Winchester Hugs Of Post Death go! Better than the one in "Mystery Spot" but not quite up to the "Lazarus Rising" one. NEEDS MOAR TORMENTED DEEEEEEN.
2. SAAAAAAAAAM! SAMMY! SAMMICH! God, he feels fresh. Hey, if RoboSam was Sera Gamble's ploy to give Jared time off from being Sam because she knew he'd be way better when he's back to it, I'm buying her a drink (which she can drink far away from me still, but I'M TRYING HERE).
3. BOBBY HUG! THERE WAS A BOBBY HUG! Granted, Bobby is still jumpy as shit, but HEY HEY LOOK AT THEM BEING A FAMILY.
3.5. And like the family they are, of COURSE Dean and Bobby immediately pick the wrong route (IT'S PRONOUNCED LIKE "ROOT", OKAY) and try to hide everything from Sam. Hey, you know the thing about itch scratching? It's better when you try to soothe the area with some healing salves of confession. And yes, I know this was a bad metaphor but since it's really far from being the worst one about this show.
3.75. Unless, of course, I insert something about Dean's glowing emerald orbs, and then insert a joke about inserting and Winchesters. THEN it'll be the Worst SPN Metaphore Ever, and I'll win a medal.
4. I. LOVE. Dean's smug little smile of Sammy Smuggy Happiness when Sam reverts to his old "I acknowledge your pain" role while talking to the victim's sister. HE'S SO HAPPY HIS LITTLE BROTHER IS BACK, YOU GUYS. I'm happy he's happy.
4.5. Know what I also love? Sam's face of "I don't know this brother-shaped person next to me" when Dean picks the absolute worst way to ask said sister about her virginity in the hospital. He's back to being Dean Winchester, Sociopath (But Ever So Pretty) Big Brother, you guys! Awwwwww.
5. How awesome a coincidence is it that both SPN and "Community" do episodes that riff on fantasy games in the same week? Granted, in SPN it's more srs bznis than in Community's immensely touching gesture with the D&D, but still. AWESOMENESS WITH DRAGONS, Y'ALL. I approve.
6. LMAO THAT SCENE WITH THE SWORD IN THE STONE. Jensen Ackles, I enjoy YOUR FACE. :D :D :D
6.5. That professor chick was hot and she's got ancient weapons. Bobby should've put a ring on it, is all I'm saying.
7. I LOVE how they've kept the small touches with Bobby's life. Pls to be continuing this, Show.
8. "So what, you think Batman's tried to rape her?" "Well, he does carry a lot of rage." (Because his parents are DEEEEEEAAAAD) "What's up with Memento over there?"

9. Did I mention, by the way, that PRETTY BOYS ARE PRETTY? (AND SO IS ANGEL) Especially in that fight scene in theDRAGON CAVES OF DOOM sewers.
