Also as a direct consequence, I have temporarily reverted back to being a DEANGIRL.

I was wondering the same thing about John. I'm willing to bet Bela's not enjoying her stay either, but maybe slightly less horrifically than Dean, since she hasn't made quite so many demonic enemies for herself as he has.

DUDE. I love tormented!Dean just as much as the next person, and I flatter myself that ever since I've started watching SPN, my gore tolerance has very much improved (one has to, with Sera Gamble episodes), but this. GOD. This was just BEYOND my ability to cope with. This was GRUESOME.

OKAY. I absolutely see your point. The level of torture on Sam in "Mystery Spot" was unimaginable. It was part of the reason why that episode screwed up with me so much. Sam is undeniably heavily mentally scarred by what happened there. But still, there's not being able to imagine somthing, and actually seeing too much. I swear to god, that last image of Dean in the finale was HBO worthy. *CRINGE*
