loony_moonyMy thoughts for the day:
1. Rest in peace, Dom DeLouise. I loved you pretty much in every movie I ran into you in, even when you gave your voice to Itchy on "All Dogs Go To Heaven" (which consequently had one of the catchiest soundtracks I've ever heard, and almost fucking operatic recits wtf :D). You were awesome.
2. You know, in a sea of primetime TV shows led by male characters (House, The Mentalist, Dexter etc etc), I'm sorta really proud that "Bones" has such high ratings. I'm proud that Temperance Brennan has layers and chutzpah, and I'm proud of Emily Deschanel for being so consistently good as her. So why exactly are we not seeing more of these women?
2.5 That said, am I the only one who's following the collective FAIL that is the outfits for this year's Met Costume Ball? I wanna grab all these women, yell at them to stop putting make up on like they're Twilight vampire extras and eat a burger.
3. Attn: Hollywood. THIS. READ THIS. AND THEN READ IT AGAIN JUST SO IT SINKS IN. Man, I think Kate Hudson and Miley Cyrus represent everything that's wrong about this city right now, and not for their own faults (considering just how gratingly annoying they both are). 4. I join the bandwagon by reccingdrvsilla's latest SPN meta, which is titled: 'idk, wft, bbq, demon blood. *hands*'
Incredibly sharp, funny and insightful comments about Sam's powers in bullety points, followed by Spaceballs quotes in the comments. You know you want to. :D
5. "Three, my lord! Three!" ("And with it thou shall blow thy enemies into tiny bits") Sometimes I wish SPN quoted Monty Python instead of, IDK, dumb 70's comedies. Meh.
6. Speaking of "Bones", I just saw on my DVR that episode where Vampiresse PrettyHair from Twilight guested as a lawyer. Man, her pretty hair is pretty. Twilight still sucks, though. I can't believe they got Michael Sheen! *facepalm*
7. I know I posted about Craig Ferguson, but you guys should really see Jon Stewart's interview with Denis Leary from last night. They kinda rip each other to shreds as jokes (and it's HILARIOUS). It's sort of dumbfounding that any host can be so free with his guest. It makes me GIDDY. :D
