1. Uh-oh. Apparently Demi Moore got butthurt over ONTD discussing just how ridiculous the photoshop was on her W Magazine cover.

In other words, EPIC POST IS EPIC.

2. But speaking of modeling, check out all the latest spreads Super-Plus-Size-Model Crystal Renn has done lately.

She is one gorgeous woman, goddamn.

3. In case you missed it (and happen to live in the US), check out Stephen Colbert subbing for Jay-Z while rapping about the suburbs with Alicia Keys in her performance of her song "New York State Of Mind" on the show:

HAPPY SIXTH CANDLE!

Now back to German.

IKR. She's not even plus-sized, but compared to the spidery female-shaped creatures I see in Manhattan on a daily basis, she might as well be. :(

Well considering Crystal Renn is EIGHT MILLION TIMES sexier than any stick-figured starving artist model I have seen in countless ads over the years (seriously, I had some jawdrop moments scrolling through those photos) I think that speaks for itself.

Uh, this might be a totally unpopular opinion, but...

Crystal Renn's stunning, and I do want to see more size diversity in fashion and pop culture. But I'm always really dismayed to see such an either/or mentality like this - right now there are four comments above mine implying that skinny girls are jerks or sick for promoting an unrealistic image of beauty. There are a lot of unhealthy girls in fashion, but there are also a lot of healthy, thin, gorgeous women in fashion, too.

Obviously there's room for improvement. We need more Crystal Renns. But if every model looked like her, then you're still promoting a mentality where some skinny little girl is still looking at that gorgeous size-twelve woman and saying, "I don't look anything like that, which means I'm ugly."

In all honesty, I see models every day in New York. Believe me when I say, they are not particularly pretty or healthy-looking women. I saw today a model with legs so thin, she's probably wearing kid sizes. I disagree with what you say. I don't think there are a lot of thin, healthy women in the fashion industry nowadays. Not when the US Vogue puts on an article about "plus-size" models called "when size 4 is too big" in their latest edition. I don't think it's bad to say "hey, this woman eats, and she has those boobs naturally", when the Victoria Secret show gets stick-thin girls with boob jobs to envision what men allegedly like.

Some people will always be thin, for a fact. It doesn't necessarily mean they'll look good, or like the way they look. However, I do think healthy bodies with healthy attitudes about self-esteem are a way better role model than underfed, starving girls who believe that "nothing looks as good as skinny feels".

Well, like I said, I'm not disputing that there are unhealthy girls out there, but that's my point. There are always going to be unhealthy-looking girls striving to look like the models, regardless of what size they are.

Not every size-twelve woman is as pretty as Renn is, or looks healthy at that size. She's tall and has great proportions, just like Heidi Klum does at a much smaller size. If every model suddenly became a size twelve overnight, you'd still have girls developing unhealthy eating/living habits to try to achieve Renn's measurements.
