Short, Solemn, Sad

loony_moonyIt's Erev Yom Kippur right now in NY. For those not familiar with Jewish customs, it means Yom Kippur has started, as Jewish holidays always go from sunset to sunset. It also happens to be a Friday, which means this Yom Kippur falls on a Sabbath, making it doubly special (and holy to many).
I'm not observing Yom Kippur this year, but I would like to extend an apology to all those I've hurt this past year and ask for their forgiveness. The internet is a very cold place sometimes, where people (myself included) are prone to hurting others much more quickly than they would face-to-face.
It has been quite a sad week. Two beloved pets of my loved ones have died quite unexpectedly, which caused much grief. Then Steve Jobs died and the whole world, really, has fallen into grief. There is something to be said for someone who has inadvertently touched the lives of almost every single soul in the world with his inventions.
In any case, I'm feeling the gravity of this day weighing on my soul, so even though I was planning to do a picspam, I'll delay it till Sunday.

You know actually for a second I thought that it was gonna depress me, but it seems to have made me feel better instead. Thanks, man! I was feeling pretty crappy.
