Hey, I expected this to be way worse than it was.
1. As usual, Glee is about as subtle as a D&G marketing campaign, which is to say, anvliciousness to make Sera Gamble feel like a rookie.
1.5. But I have to say, that Sue infomercial was pretty hilarious.
2. But they really dialed up Rachel's detestable factor from 11 to, like, 33. GUESS WHAT, SHE WAS DETESTABLE ENOUGH BEFORE. SHE COULD'VE STAYED JUST THE WAY SHE WAS AND IT WOULD'VE BEEN ENOUGH. Dear god it was detestable to the point of pathetic. Like Emperor Palpatine or something. THE DARK SIDE WAS STRONG IN THIS ONE ALREADY.
2.5. Which is not to say I didn't see Lea Michele's obnoxious personality shining through the character. Listen, I know some people are okay with the way she's handling the character and blah blah voice (NO) blah, but considering the multiple, MULTIPLE rumors of her super-diva behaviour on and off set, the pro in me says UNACCEPTABLE. And that's why I do not like her one fucking bit.
3. That said, Finn. Oh god. He is just the blandest character that ever blanded. And btw? Despite his Tom-Hardy-Jensen-Ackles-esque lips, Sam doesn't seem anymore interesting either.
4. MIKE CHANG'S BODY, YES YES. YES. Get it, Tina.
5. The musical numbers were okay. They're getting revved up for the Britney/Madonna episodes, I know.
5.5. But the rapping is still atrocious. I was facepalming so hard.
6. I LOVE Becky. She's like a tiny Brittany.
6.5. I ALSO LOVE BRITTANY.
7. And I love Beiste, even if they are trying to make her look like a transsexual. She's a nice opposition to Sue, and she highlights just how douchy and spineless Schue is, so YAY.there's a tiny part in me that thinks this is how Helen Traubel would've looked like in her age.
8. I love Kurt and Mercedes also also. I don't think I've ever not loved them

10. So, the teal deer version:
YAY - Sue, Brittany, Beiste, Sunshine, Mike/Tina, Becky, Kurt and Mercedes
NAY - Finn, Rachel, Finn/Rachel, Schue, rapping, using "every rose has its thorn" and "billionaire"
MAYBE - Sam, Santana and her "fake boobs", Quinn? (mostly because I love Dianna Agron)
