My official list of Favourite Shows Currently Running:

Community - It's just SO SHINY. So smart and funny and touching, even when I'm sorta tired of Jeff Wenger. Though I heartily believe it's the new "Scrubs", I don't think Joel McHale is quite as charming as Zack Braff used to be.

Supernatural - It's...on the way out of this list tbh. I'm hardly the only person on my flist who feels this way, I know. I can't quite muster the unironic squee I used to have for it, and my levels of disdain for Jared Padalecki as a person are beginning to take over my affection for Sam Winchester. Idk. There's a longer post waiting to be written about this, but those are my initial observations.

True Blood - It's still my official summer crack, and I think it's wholly redeemable if they just start cutting out some of the boring storylines and/or characters. Plus, Eric Northman, Lafayette and Pam are still three of the most fun characters on television, and I love the books.

Never Mind the Buzzcocks - OH, BRITISH SNARK. Even with the cringe-worthy parade game they insist on keeping, it's still incredibly entertaining. Plus, Noel Fielding = YES PLEASE.

The Daily Show - JOOOOOOOOOOOON. That is all. :D

The Late Late Show - Craig Ferguson, I've come to realize, has made a perfect amalgamation of British and American late night formats. He's just the right amount of silly, laid back and serious. Plus, HE'S MY SCOTTISH UNF. Never leave your show omg Craig. <3333333

30 Rock - It's been coming slowly but surely. Tina Fey FTW!

Shows That Almost Make Afrementioned List:

Leverage - I seriously just need to catch up on it. I still adore it lots and lots.

The Big Bang Theory - Jim Parsons is still the funniest.

GLEE - Ack. Um, I only care about Kurt at this point? I sorta got tired of all the musical numbers and I pretty much detest any reason to have Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison on my television.

The Colbert Report - It's just that I don't quite want to watch it every night. Every couple of nights, sure!

Shows I Wish Existed So I Could Name Them My Favourites:

Jensen's Hour of Facepalm - Jensen Ackles on the many many things that make him facepalm, and us laugh and laugh. Schaaaaaaadenfreude! :D

Misha's Meditations - Misha Collins reminiscing over the many uses of pony blood, running crazy amounts and why his son has his own custom made fake mustache at the tender age of FETUS.

The Hardy Party - Tom Hardy sitting, being luscious. Tom Hardy talking like he writes, while being luscious. Sometimes P-Nut has his own corner on life advice for the newly rehabbed, as well as exercises that make your ass look like two ripe, hard melons, which Tom Hardy demonstrates in his underwear.

Yes, it's that spoiler, from that episode of that painful fucking Show: The amounts of 'no' and 'wtf' and 'how do you think this is even funny' and 'why don't you just punch all your fanbase in the face' I have for this are immeasurable.

Seriously, you guys. Maybe I'll just leave this piece of floating crap Supernatural has become for Noel Fielding and Russell Brand playing goth detectives.

In place of a proper episode recap in which I despair of Show's anviliciousness, I offer you something different

A Eulogy and a letter )

Btw, today I moved to a new place. Feeling kinda lonely without my roomies, so I'm gonna hit the cider and watch Eclipse Rifftrax.

You know you're Jewish when you start naming shit in Hebrew while watching Show. Also, that Dean is a yenta.

loony_moony: (SPN: This is Dean my sociopathic brother)
Two spoilery reactions:

1. What she said. She whose face I hate.

2. I just came back from a rock concert, so you'll have to forgive my scattermindedness )

So EW picked their top 15 favourite SPN episodes, and while their list is really not half bad (Swan Song though? Really? That episode was so bad, I actually thought I'd stop watching the new season after it), I've decided to make my own list of 20 favourites plus extra awards for episodes with specific scenes/themes I really liked. BECAUSE I CAN. :D

My favourite 20 Supernatural episodes! (not dial-up friendly. GIFS/PICS ALERT) )

And now, if you'll excuse me, instead of watching this season's premiere, I have to go and see Alice In Chains in MSG, because my sister's making me. GRRRRRRRR.

Yep, it's here, it's over-the-top, and it's a proud special snowflake toddler. With Lea Michele.

And whoever loves Lea Michele can feel free to skip this spoilery review )
