Sorry for not being around. I've been practicing like crazy for a Very Important Audition next Saturday, that seemed to fall on my head like a tonne of bricks. Am very stressed, and I pretty much don't have time for surfing at all. However, nobody expects the Weekend Moonay! :D I'll be at relatives' house with a decent computer AT LAST! Even if it is for two days only. I might even do a picspam! YAYNESS! But I don't promise anything.

Also, Jon Stewart lovers might want to know that in real life he doesn't have that standing hair thing, and that he (or his wife perchance) possesses a small black Bichon Frise (haha Chilly!). Also Annette Benning is very tall, and looks exactly like in the photos too. Stretched, that is. Hmm.

Random <333333 for everybody, even for the latest troll that friended me this week. May you find a life. :)

Btw, I love my sister. :D

Hi! Good luck with your Very Important Audition! I did the Met Competition/Auditions Regionals in the Upper Midwest (read: Minneapolis) this past weekend and it was tres scary. Huge theatre, scary judges, bright lights - the whole works. :) Hope it goes well! What are you singing, if I may ask?

PS: Oil of oregano! Good times! Well, nasty taste/constant, odd longing for Italian food side-effects, but good times in your throat! :)

When do you know the results for the Met auditions then? :) I'm singing 4 songs. I hoped for one aria, but it's not going to be ready on time. :/

Hahahaha! Will try to find some around here. I actually haven't eaten Italian for ages now. :O

I know already; they announce it right away. It wasn't me, that's all I know! :) I think I ranked about halfway, unofficially??? There were 17 singers and I was the youngest (25) and the only one still doing an undergrad. Three were already done their DMA's in operatic performance, and three more of them were working on it. Most of them were already done their masters'. Mwah! said I. The hall was huge. Freakin' HUGE. I sang my Puccini (Senza Mamma, from Suor Angelica), and they *mumblebastardsmumble* chose, OF COURSE, my Barber aria, of all things, Do not utter a word, from Vanessa. I used to sing Must the winter yada yada back in my quasi-mezzo days, and it's a LOT easier and a LOT nicer. *grumblesopranomyarsegrumble* But at least it's over now! If I'd have won the regionals, I would have had to go to New York for the national semi-finals (ha ha ha ha ha!!), where you have to perform on the Met stage. [insert more hysterical laughter here] So, I'm just as happy. :)
