1. So 9 days ago, model Rie Rasmussen started a shitstorm against Terry Richardson on Page Six, to the resounding outcries of ONTD to drive a pitchfork through him. Now, you might say "so what? isn't that what every fashion photographer does?" But even among fashion photographers, Terry Richardson is one vile motherfucker. Today Richardson cries and whines about the 'allegations' against him on his website, but more importantly takes off some of the most offensive photos off it. Now this is not to be said that those photoshoots (and worse) didn't happen already, or that he'll lose much work for it, but here's hoping people keep closer tabs on him and what he does. My personal hopes about what should happen to this sleazy, hipsteresque sex offender range somewhere between a Bobbit and a shiv, but I rather doubt anything's gonna happen to him but some model spraying overpriced vodka in his face.

2. On lighter news, is Jon Hamm going to be Captain America?

3. The Harry Potter theme park is about to open!

Oh god, if this place is as good as it looks, it's not going to be any less than HELL to be in any time soon. And I SO VERY DEARLY WANT TO GO THERE OMG.

I am drunk. This is not a warning for the post, so much as a statement of fact. I've had 4 margaritas, 3 of which were frozen weak mango shit that was yummy, and a 4th one that had actual jalapenos in it and was so strong, I'm actually feeling like my brain is soaked in tequila.

1. Jason Isaacs is done filming Harry Potter in its entirety.

And he misses the Lucius Malfoy get up almost as much as we will after the second part of Deathly Hallows screens. I keep wondering if he kept some parts of it, or went as Lucius on Halloween. I'D LIKE TO KNOW THIS, MISTER ISAACS, YOU HOTASS.

2. Utah legislature has passed a law which criminalizes miscarriage.

The Daily Kos makes a point about the high rate of unintended miscarriages now conisidered to be a crime, and the vagueness of the wording in the law. It's a precedence that is frankly frightening, considering the legal steps Utah has taken en route to this law, as described in the article. I will never understand why men think they know women's bodies better than women do. I will never understand why some women feel the need to oppress other women. I will NOT. I do, however, want to stab every single person who voted in favour of this law.

That fandom meme

The one who seduced you and fucked you over and broke your heart in a million pieces and laughed about it: Lord of the Rings. God, when that fandom died down, it was fucking heartbreaking. I still have some bazillion cool icons and vids from all the good times.

The old flame you don't see very often any more but whom you still really enjoy getting together with for a few drinks and maybe a pleasant nostalgic romp in the sheets: Harry Potter. I still have fics I like following here and there, and I'll definitely see the movies, but other than that it's viagra time.

The mysterious dark gothy one whom you used to sit up with talking until 3 a.m. at weird coffeehouses and with whom you were quite smitten until you realized ze really was fucking crazy: Lotrips, but more specifically, the cult of Orlando Bloom.

The one you spent a whole weekend in bed with and who drank up all your liquor, and whom you'd still really like to fuck again although you're relieved ze doesn't actually live in town: Black Adder. Given enough time, I could pretty much memorize the entire series and start sprouting snark a-la Edmund.

The steady: Supernatural. What can I say, nowdays I like my emoporn in form of two hot brothers and loads of testosterone.

The one you repeatedly cheat on your steady with: Twatlight. So. Damn. Addictive.

The one you find yourself too tongue-tied to do anything but stare at adoringly, clinging to hir every word: Iron Man.

The alluring stranger whom you've flirted with at parties but have never gotten really serious with: Political RPF. Every once in a while I get an itch to write Stewart/Colbert fic, but then I realize reality is better than fiction. Unless [livejournal.com profile] hackthis writes it.

The one you hang out with and have vague fantasies about maybe having a thing with but ultimately you're just good buddies 'cause the friendship is there but the chemistry ain't: The Office (US). I'm just, it's so funny and awkward and special, but I'm just not feeling it fandom-wise.

The one you think you might marry, but you need to spend some more time together: CWRPS. Right now I'm mostly a J2 girl when it comes to RPS, but you know, I might be suceptible to more.

The one your friends keep introducing you to and who seems like a hell of a cool peep except it's never really gone anywhere: SGA. It's like, I get it, but at the same time ghost hunters are more appealing to me than outer space adventurers.

The one you slept with on the rebound who still smiles at you, yet you have no interest in any more: House. I won't lie, I was only too happy to dump House when SPN proved to be that stuff of crack. It was in the end of S4, which everyone remembers as the Tritter Failboat.

The one who's slept with all your friends, and you keep looking at hir and thinking, "Hir? How the hell did ze land all these cool babes?": BANDOM WTF. Be it German, American, Korean or Japanese.

The one your friend has fallen for like a ton of bricks and whom ze keeps babbling to you about on the phone for hours, and you'd be happy for hir except you just know it's going to end badly: Huh. Good question. I think it's going to be Twatlight, and it's probably going to be ME. Also possibly J2, but the thought isn't bearable. Although if Jensen ever proposes to Danneel, I will laugh and laugh and spend the rest of my weekend doing a SPN marathon and yelling "DOUCHEBAG" at the screen If not me, then probably everyone on my flist who likes Smallville, and/or One Tree Hill, because let's face it. Dead horses. Beaten with pointy sticks. (this is in no way connected to my strange affection for Chad Michael Murray, though)

I think this heat wave melted parts of my brain

Mmmrrrrrrffff!!!

1. It is SO incredibly irritating that Big Bang has started with, well, a freakin' BANG and I barely have time to read one fic! Took me three good days to finish [livejournal.com profile] belyste's beautiful J2 one. Three days! And there are 831731381197 more fics out there that I MUST. READ. NOW. Argh!

2. Everyone. Fucking EVERYONE needs to read 'The Seahorse'. It's J2, and granted, Mpreg, but it's so, so well done you won't even feel a tinge of wankiness, I swear. I've read quite a few Mpregs in my time, and this one is just so good. SO GOOD. It's like how every stupid romantic pregnancy comedy SHOULD BE. It's like the way "Juno" would be if Diablo Cody didn't puke weird catch phrases and code names for shit (which I LOVED) every two sentences, and the main two characters were two hot dudes. HA. SO AWESOME AND SCHMOOPY AND GAAAAAH HOT. And I don't even LIKE babies.

3. [livejournal.com profile] mistful posted a new chapter of 'Drop Dead Gorgeous'! AAAAAAAH! One of the last great H/D fics I follow RELIGIOUSLY. Everytime she posts a new chapter, I'm instantly reminded of how awesome her Draco is, and how I used to hunt for fics of him being so awesome and insane.

4. I saw "Kung Fu Panda" last night and it was HILARIOUS. It was so overly publicized, I didn't want to go to it, but then people started saying how great it was, so I tried. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, PEOPLE. :D It's funny and adorable and so beautifully animated too!

Yeah, my job has brain-fried me. AGAIN. Sue it, not me.

So, uh, this is kinda overdue, but I should probably make this post anyway.

I think it's pretty obvious that I've changed a fandom. It wasn't really a conscious choice. In fact, I used to pride myself for outlasting a helluva lot of shit that went in the Harry Potter fandom in the five long years I've been a member. But Book 7 came and went, and I turned a page without meaning to right after it was done. I almost never read Harry Potter fanfiction anymore, with a few exceptions, and I certainly don't post about it anymore. I still love it, and everything great that came with it, and the many friends I've made through it. You are awesome, awesome people and I love you still. I just don't have the same interests anymore.

Of course I'll still go to the movies, duh. I'll probably watch them way too many times than what's healthy, and who knows, maybe they'll propel me back to fandom. But right now I'm deep, deep in Supernatural fandom and the odd movie/tv show here and there.

What I'm saying is that if you think we have nothing to talk about anymore, or don't feel like we connect on any level anymore, feel free to defriend me. I won't hate or wank, nothing of the sort. I'm just not wired like that. However, you should know that I still love you guys, and that I'll be happy to stay friended with you, or by you.

So, uh, yeah. Meep! *hides!*

Just popping in for a second

Spoiler-free speaking, I have to say that seeing "Order of the Phoenix" after having read "Deathly Hallows" is a completely different experience. I highly recommend it to anyone who could spare the time and money.

When I get the time, I'll write my horridly unfunny review. Hopefully sometime in the next few days.

Also, I'm going to see "Sunshine" today. Yay!
